Styling notes
Leave it open unless you're standing to speak; a blazer reads relaxed when it hangs and formal when it's fastened. Push the sleeve once — never twice — for evening. Keep the trouser and the jacket in the same colour family unless you deliberately want a separates look, and let one accent (a belt, an earring) finish it rather than a scarf and a necklace and a bag.

Can you wear a blazer with jeans?

Yes, with dark, straight denim and a soft, unstructured blazer. Add a clean leather shoe and keep the top plain so the pairing reads deliberate.
What blazer fit is most flattering?

One where the shoulder seam sits exactly on your shoulder and the sleeve ends at the wrist bone. Fit there matters more than how nipped the waist is.
